Noober Questions.

So I am contemplating my first sword acquisition. At all the possibilities, I start to wish that I could just stick with guns, bows, and knives, but , its just not to be. So. I was at a friends who has quite a collection, and was able to handle some of his swords both cheap in price and quality, as well as expensive in price and quality. The first opinion I developed is that there is no "kinda good" or "ok" swords, they are good or bad period. As I get more experience in handling them that may change, but for now it seems pretty cut and dry. We got to do some cutting to. When I did it it was like hitting stuff with a piece of pretty metal. When he did it it was a demonstration in artistic destruction. My cuts made a "fwank" sound, his went "SSS" and blew cleanly through what we were cutting. I learned that swords were/are some effective and deadly weapons. I was very impressed with what I saw. Ok done with the blather. I have been looking at swords from-

So far thees are about the only ones that have appealed from just looking at them. I was able to handle the first, and third swords in the links. Any input that can be offered on any of thees swords is appreciated, as well as any advice or recommendations you feel are important when buying a first sword. I will want to try my hand at sharpening it my self. and cutting at some point. I thank you in advance for any input, and wish you all a safe, and very marry Christmas and happy new year.
