Got mine yesterday. Still trying to decide if I like it or not. Looks and feels like you could take it to hell and back without any problems. :-)

My wife is back in the States visiting family. She snatched my camera on her way out the door. Will be a couple more weeks until I can get the pics. :-(
Of course that is if she remembers to bring the camera and cords/charger all back.

Congratulations on your new sword, Mr. Swiger! These Zombie Tools look pretty tough from the vids, and I think this is one of their more interesting blades. How does it handle?

For a viking inspired and modern tactical sword, it is totally badass. The weight is good with a slight forward heft.
Blade is 28 inches Weight is around 3 lbs Blade Width at base is 1.8 (after the little cut out) Blade width about center is 1.6 and an inch from tip is 1 inch POB is 5 inches Grip is 4.5
It does not feel overly heavy to me and is comfortable in hand. The blade finish is dark mixed with cloudy lighter areas on the entire blade. Not white though. Guard and pommel are very modern looking. Blade is very sharp.
Sheath it came with is very plain and the blade rattles in it. Would need an upgrade scabbard if it was to be carried on a backpack or by itself. Zombies might notice the sound of the blade moving in its current sheath.

Sounds like a nice tac cutter, thanks for sharing your thoughts on it!
I'm not sure how they put their scabbards together, but if they use chicago screws and you can take the two halves apart, maybe just lining the inside with some thin leather will take care of the rattle. If that's not possible, you could always try re-heating and re-forming the kydex yourself with a heat gun and some foam-lined boards.

I was thinking about getting one of these but not sure if it is worth the 15 week wait and price. I've handle their Mack daddy-O (chinese war sword), but wanted something more sword like.
also does this sword handle like most other viking swords, and does the grip allow for both hammer or handshake grips?

It is a little more heavy than a standard historically correct viking sword but not too heavy. The hammer grip is best with this sword. The edges on the pommel are sort of sharp if you try a handshake grip. This is a chopping sword in my opinion.

Anyone have any personal pictures of this sword? other than the pics on the zombie tools site I can't find any other pics to see what it "really" looks like in person.

I'm interested in further feedback, as well. At the posted weight, it is only about a tenth of a pound (or an ounce and a half) heavier than my Miller Bros M4...and the blade is a foot longer. I'm a fan of some Viking styled swords, and I can't deny an attraction to tactical blades; so this one merits a closer look...even if I do have to wait a month or two before opening my wallet again. (Unless, of course I decide I have to have it, or come across a deal too good to pass)
