Ok so first post on this forum but been around along time and its one of the friendliest one's and one of the most useful ones I've seen. so here my question is, the sharpening method used in this vid here ... re=mh_lolz. is this fine, as i do not have the space for tomk's method. tho someday hopefully i will, and i enjoy the idea of a bit more mobile method of sharpening. zombie apocalypses is comen as we know. so what's the general consensuses, i'm not looking for the sharpest paper cutter blade but rather a functional blade.

I would not use that method on a Katana as he does in the vid... tho it would be fine for most other sword edges.

Thanks, Shadow, i was going to metion myself that i would never touch my katana with it, i've actually found a company that offers a sharpening service(along with other repair/customization options), and that's perfect as i wanted to know if this would do well for my first euro sword and hopefully many others i will be acquiring as i can.
