If after all this your edge isn't properly sharp, you could check with Sonny at the Valiant Armory Custom Sword Shoppe. They are great at putting SPLENDID edges on Euro swords, and they've sharpened a few H/T's in their time, usually when doing a scabbard or grip upgrade as well. Don't know how much they'd charge for just an edge tune-up, but I doubt it would be very much. Though sending the sword anywhere for sharpening would be more than a bit of a hassle in postage alone. I would just have Ryan at KOA get you a sharp one, or barring that (if the properly sharp ones aren't in-stock, for example) you could see what KOA would charge to touch up the edge, since they can put very decent edges on windlass's and the like. The results probably wouldn't be as pretty and smooth as a VA edge, but they'd be perfectly good. All this would be moot if the in-stock swords are the newer H/T's with proper edges, which is most likely the case.

Welcome. Hope they can alleviate some of your worries.
That they do. Best "full package" deals in the industry, in my opinion.
