Well here are the updated pics of my latest Custom Viking to my collection : Im really happy with the way this one turned out ,ill be posting a review of it as soon as it has arrived with me . Then iv got something special in the works , I actually commisioned it a good while back and then forgot about it completely ,but iv just gotten an update today saying that it is almost completed and will ship towards the end of September /first week of October . Here is a sketch of what is coming my way as well as some details on this project . The picture was not done by me but rather the Smith himself . Tell me what you guys think personally I think it's going to be a stunner Details : The blade is 90cm long and has a strong diamond cross-section 45mm wide and 8mm thick at the base. The grip is a tooled leather with a vine theme and the sword will have a matching scabbard. The upper half of the grip features a twisted wire wrap. The decorated brass chape is matched by the scabbard mountings.

That's what I was hoping/thinking... he has made some gorgeous longsword with such a pommel and grip before...

Change the guard and it'd be the spitting image of this baby. And speaking of Peter Johnsson's amazing grip work, who could forget the grip on his Vorpal Sword?

Sweet! I'm guessing this just may be a Christian Fletcher piece with an Albion bare blade? Are that guard and pommel made of purpleheart? Such a nice wood... wish I could work with some Either way you're getting a gorgeous piece!
