I might rent this place my mom is renting in like 2 years. I don't mind the wait, but I should get a job sometime anyway, plus my mom doesn't mind the mess I make too much... Lol.
I would get a job, but I don't have enough energy for school, Karate, ninjutsu AND a job. I may get one next month depending if this one place will hire me or not.
And randomnobody, in my situation, I should be asking you!! Lol

I am now deciding between Cold steel kukri or gurkha kukri. Which is more kurki like and which will I benifit from more?
The regular kukri I can get for like 30$. I can also get a ka-bar, but I nothing of these.

Which "gurkha kukri" do you mean?
I'd personally avoid Cold Steel, primarily for the cost (why pay two or three times as much?) and stick with pretty much any Nepalese distributor you can find. If you're looking for reasonable prices you have your pick from the Khukuri House, or if you're feeling like spending $100, go to Himalayan Imports. Whatever you buy from them oughtn't disappoint.

Hard to tell from photo's, but Cold steels doesn't look like it's got the proper cross-section.

just use WD-40 if you use it often. Only use oil when storing, it is what I do, and my katana is perfectly fine!

Oil has never touched my kukri, and it's certainly made of good steel. Though for the past two years it's been displayed mostly out of its scabbard/sheath (whatever the more appropriate term is here) I've started to use its second tier for another knife so it's back in the sheath now for a couple months. Still no sign of rusting, though my house has been a pretty easy environment. Heck, it took me three years to ever clean and oil my PK, and it's only got one spot of rust which I presume to be a family member's doing while I wasn't around, prior to leaving for a week. There was a rusty fingerprint on it when I got back that didn't match mine. ![>:(](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) Anyway, depending on where you live, you probably won't have to worry about oiling a kukri too much, though Himalayan Imports has a very thorough maintenance guide on their site.

thats the one I got from bud-k ...... like I said my only gripe was the crappy little knives and the sheath was trash but those problems are easily fixed with a little work ... the main blade is a monster ..... the thing brezzed throught frozen solid hammburger like dry brush
