Howdy all,
I came across this sword company on eBay but with a quick search I couldn't find anything about them.
Their blades run about $700 and I thought that's a bit expensive for a company no one really has heard of.
From what I can see though they look like some very nice blades. Was hoping someone had some experience with them.

From what I can find they're located in Australia. Most likely an importer who has contracted a chinsese sword manufacturer to make him some for his own "brand". Aside from that there are NO descriptions or additional photos of the swords aside from the one VERY POOR picture that is up for it.
No descriptions, no pictures and fairly high priced. I wouldn't buy from them.

They look way overpriced. I wouldn't buy from them, you can get a lot better for a lot less money.

$1500 for a katana and the ito crosses improperly??? This is a major fail.
I also notice that they use the Dynasty Forge names Daimyo, Bushi, and Musha class. The "Bushi" tri-steel folded is through tempered. Really odd. They also refer to 1095 as "sand steel". This is either ignorance or flat-out false advertising aimed at novices.

No no no! Its supposed to be that way! You see its designed with curve to the blade like that so when you cut someone in the abdomen it scoops right under the rib cage and separates the diaphragm from the ribcage and allows for a good kill!
LOL!

I know quite a few other sellers are suffering. Luckily Tried & True Armory is not supporting Tom nor I's families so we should be immune to the slow down in the economy. Hopefully...

their tamahagane line doesn't look like tamahagane at all!!! it looks like 1095 folded a few times and left at that (i may be wrong since i never handled tamahagane blades nor folded high carbon steel blades but it's my opinion)

All their stuff is purely crap, I can't believe people actually brought these lemons. Their use of the word "tamagahane" is very misleading and in my views that is no better than fraud. These are the kind of companies that makes me sick and ashamed as they're based in Australia....Shame on them.

Hey Dude, I own a few fine katanas before(not expert). I bought one of the DAIMYO CLASS D109502 T10 Differential Clay-Tempered katana for $899 with free postage, it was very good, very nice with cutting and right balance too for the whole katana. Overall impression for me was great, a lot better than some of my few hundred dollars katanas. I will try to buy another "DAIMYO CLASS BOTAN GREEN TAMAHAGANE", will give you guys another post then. Thanks

Any pics? It's hard to rely on their site alone. " It has been tested - can "Chop General Metals" (with Iron Cutting Edge)! This is a very fine katana blade, it made from "Top Quality Tamahagane Iron/Steel Sand"! We have "7 Day Refund Policy", you can refund it if you are not happy with the quality of our swords or our swords’ quality are not matching our descriptions!" www.skyjiro.com/ProductInfo.asp?ID=624... :? Apparently you can go ahead and destruction test your katana on metals...they have given you a blanket guarantee!

I looked at the $1500, 1095 steel sword and was shocked to see poor bo hi termination, non alternating ito, tanned ray skin and honestly, the hamon was no better than on a typical hauwei or average ebay model. sadly, people still think a ridiculously high price guarantees quality. I personally wouldn't pay more than $350 for any of those swords.

I had ever owned a paul chen katana two years ago, it was really good but expensive. However last month I bought a katana from Skyjiro Forge, which is not a famous company. The quality is similar with the one from paul chen, but with a lower price. What‘s more, the service attitude is good too. In sum, I will buy from them again. thumb up
