...noticed that for 3 days now, can hardly access the main site, everyone else got the same problem ?

Yep.... been trying all day this is the first time ive been able to even use it.... Im always logged out (even tho i always shud be logged in) and before it came up with a wierd page that wasn't SBG lol

Yesterday was the first day it was super slow for me. At one time I couldnt get in.

It was slow on Sunday, then yesterday about 80% of the time it wouldn't let me on. It seems to be running faster today, though. I hope it keeps up.

My guess is the servers are having issues, wherever they are. Hopefully that's resolved soon.

Same here I was thinking it was just my crappy connection, lol. Pages will take forever to load and sometimes it just loads a white screen and I have to refresh several times to get it to load the content.

I've had the same problems here. At least half of the time I can't connect to the forum. The rest of the time the whole thing runs like it had just downed one big Jack Daniel's bottle ... Very slowly and sometimes the forum forget the pm and post that I had just made ...

Here I thought it was just my internet connection playing a game of limbo: how low can it go? It was taking me something like 5 minutes to load a page when it would let me on at all. Could it be more of the problems Paul was having with Paypal or something?

PayPal wouldnt effect the servers response time. If anything there just having a minor issue with their servers and everything will be back to normal in a few days or so (just my educated guess lol)

I had less trouble logging on with Firefox than I did with IE, but still slow for a while...

I upgraded to Firefox 4.01, and it's running now but the boards weren't coming up for about a hour or more. Frustrating.

i've tried google,firefox,logging in to the old forum and using the link to the new one,it doesn't seem to be any isp problem's,it's been happening to me for a few days now , hopefully it'll get sorted out,but i've no idea why it's happening :?

I doubt anyone else noticed since nobody's on as much as I am, but about 1-2am central, the site was down for some 20 minutes or so (could have been longer; I'm not sure since I was reading a book at the time) and came back with a "temporary site" with the url consisting of just a bunch of numbers.

the new forum has been slower than the old one since the very beginning so it may be that we feel little hiccups in the system worse because of it. seems to me there's a lot to load on each page here, would be nice to see the forum more stream-lined, but as long as it works I won't complain too loudly.
today it didn't work for a bit. *grumble*

Yeah...as far as it not working, I've been getting the same "temporary site" telling something that I can't quite remember right now other then "Please contact your administrator for assistance" So yeah....From what I remember its a white-ish blue page and does not bare the SBG logo anywhere.

For several days now its been hit and miss for me. Some times I get a "Server timed out" message other times I get a "Could not find page". Many times when I do get on it takes forever to load a page and heaven forbid I click on something - it could all start over. lol
It seems to be working alright now though, just a tad slow. I'd wager there's some trouble on the server side of things that's all. I hope it all gets sorted out.
