Agreed. Just cord-wrap it and go. Not much more theorizing left to do with this one.

The posts made by some of you guys make me wonder about your maturity. There is no need to be insulting to another forum member. If you disagree, there are better words that you can use. Maybe you should ALL call yourselves HOLY-ROLLERS?

If you have something wrong with me pointing out an incredibly foolish AND dangerous act, feel free to send me a private message.

Wow I think that many here deserves some serious smiting, give the guy a break. Who are you to make such comments against him? If he wants to use a welded blade that might break and cut him in his stomach then let him do it it's his blade and his life. Telling him not to and insulting him is two different things. And Sam Salvati you really should act more mature when you are a moderator. And Holy Roller are you even in the legal age of owning a sword? Just curious, because if you are then act like it.

Yeah! How f*ckin' dare I be such a jerk! I should hold the kid's hand, and ENCOURAGE him to use an extremely risky piece of dangerous crap even after getting an understanding of his abusive cutting practices! I must be such an semprini for thinking about the possibility that it snaps and injures someone close by! How horribly inappropriate of me!
I mean, after destroying atleast 2 low-end functional swords by cutting targets that aren't meant to be cut, why should this kid possibly know better? I'm a real jerk for trying to drive a point home when I should've coddled him, and reinforced his ignorance, like so many members of this forum would rather I do.
Now I know that when a toddler tries to stick a damn fork in an electrical socket, I should hug them and smile instead of raising my voice to instill in them the fact that it's something they should never do.

Ok. The point has been made and I can't see this thread going anywhere now. THREAD LOCKED
