Id imagine if a tsuka was glued on well, the wod would be hard to get off. I imagine youd wanna take of a certain portion with a wood chisel and a hammer, then sand the rest? Id like to know what to excpect since id like to make this project nice!

Got it removed it was rusted on well but came off with some nudging of a flat head screwdriver in the seperated seam and a little wiggle it slid off the tang to reveal some rust and some laser etched somthing or other (maker's mark?) tsuca may be reuseable if I can get it to split cleanly, so good news is it's not glued on and the habaki was not jamed on eithor so removel was easy will make a vid if that will help things just to show how it all looks
