I wouldn't mind knowing more about them myself as they have a large variety of products that look nice.

They look like they have some pretty sturdy stuff. It's all double quenched high carbon steel or spring steel with a respectable Rockwell rating. Of course if you live on this side of the pond, there's not really a big reason to buy from them unless you're looking for something really specific. I've done that with some bronze swords from England and a couple of DelTins. Surprisingly enough, I've had swords sent a few hundred miles that cost more in shipping than stuff from Europe. Shipping isn't the issue. Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Schicken Sie sie und E-Mail und fragen Sie für weitere Informationen.

Actually a couple of their Messers and Falchions look kind of appealing.
Where they come from is the concern though.

Hi Chuckinohio, While I never heard of this vendor, they seem to be re-selling some stuff from some Czech manufacturers. I'm pretty sure I recognize weapons from at least these two: www.fabri-armorum.com/english/www.kasto.org/And they also seem to have stuff from Deepeeka (see one of their seax for example). Usually, you'll get a better price if you buy direct from the manufacturer...now, shipping fees? Edit: Upon further exploration of their wares: there is also Hanwei, Del Tin and Marto stuff in there...

Thanks Reflingar, that was the info I was looking for as far as who actually made the weapons.

You are welcome Chuck. The swords from Kasto/Arms and armour manufacture are nice and not too expensive but one has to take into consideration the fact that they are blunt (can we order them sharpened?) and often heavy weight (will custom ordering a sharp blade change that?)...plus, is the final product as nice as the pics? Review here: www.myarmoury.com/review_ther_falc.html(Still, for me, their katzbalger -despite being real heavy- is quite nice and not as expensive as the Lutel...) About the same observations/questions can be made/asked on the swords from FabriArmorum. Althought he sure can make a blade with a better finish then shown on his website, a lesser weight and sharp edges if asked. He is actually quite nice and quick on the answers when e-mailed with questions. Have been intrigued myself, for a long time, by swords from Czech/European manufacturers...
