I accidentally found a site once belong to Gus Trim: www.atrimasa.com/Products.html . Even though the site is defunct (I believe it is defunct), there are still pictures on there. I really like some of the bastard swords shown on the sites, hopefully Gus will once offer those models again.

Nice find! I've always been a sucker for the Type T pommels.

Ah year... ASA Swordworks. Awhile back Gus worked with them... the site went down for awhile... and now that its up again, some of the pics have changed and some of them are gone as well. I had an ASA Swordworks Atrim that used to be on the ASA site... and its not there any longer. It was a very interesting sword... an older model, using an much older blade Gus's.. but the grip work was very unique, unlike anything I had seen before... and the furniture was nice.

if I recall correctly Gus used to make them the blades and ASA would mount them in their own furniture. they also sold the AT katana for a while.

I've always thought they did very nice work, especially for the timeframe when they were working. I have the MS2103 sword shown at the bottom of this page. www.atrimasa.com/WesternSwords.htmlThe scabbard is a little loosely made and the opening is almost square. But the hilt work and the scabbard covering are very well done, even now.

By the way, question for those who has historical knowledge, what had happen to ASA? Why did they went out of business?

Is this pictured in your collection thread? When I was checking the site I could've sworn I saw that guard somewhere.
