That is a really nice looking blade, Hiroshi. Out of curiosity, did you use anything special to create it or was it just lines on paper?

Pretty sweet. I love the look of leaf blades.
You should get Gus to make it, then you and Tom can sell them! Lol.

Tendrax brings up a very good point; you should. I'm not normally a leaf blade fan, but I do like that slender appearance you gave it.

unfortunately it's not that simple, a simple 2d design would take quite a lot of work to make into 3D model for gus' machines. and then into a real sword. even then it would be unclear until the metal is already waisted and alot of man hours spent, as to whether it would even handle well.

Very impressive. Only change I would make is to have the guard curve downwards a bit more, but that is simply a matter of personal aesthetics. If it were made, I would totally buy it.

That is rather nice. Has a bit of a Glamdring look to me. I dig.

Well in Tolkien, both swords came from the same source (the city of Gondolin), so it makes sense they would be similar stylistically. I certainly see your point though; put a scent-stopper pommel on it and yeah...

Changed pommel to scent stopper, moved grip riser for proper 1.5 hand configuration and pulled the tips of the cross down a bit.
better?

Is that a fuller leading into the ridge near the point or is it merely flattened? If this was a fuller, I'd buy this blade.

I think it definitely looks better with the scent-stopper. I still need to figure out how you made that in Illustrator for myself.

I drew it with the path tool
the easiest way to do it is draw it one part at a time and one side at a time
draw one side of the blade first, then duplicate the path and reflect it horizontally. from there move on to the cross, grip * pommel.
