Well, I cannot stop picking it up and swinging it around in my room. It just feels so nice in the hand. Surprisingly easy to handle with one hand but definitely better with two. When wielding it one handed it is hard to stop the blade after swinging. It does weigh over 4 lbs.
I am very impressed with it and I haven't really cut anything yet. I'm a pretty big LOTR fan so that is one reason I like it so much. It is just a beautiful sword to look at. I think I will be getting one more sword (probably stop after that so my dad doesn't get pissed) which will either be the UC Museum Sting or the DSA Ranger sword, sharpened of course.

If you want another Beautiful piece then get the DSA Two handed Gothic sword. Now that one's a beauty. I'm thinking of getting that sword. I was jus tasking about this sword because some swords you buy and it's exciting for the first week, then after that it just lays somewhere collecting dust.

One problem with the Gothic: It's not a LotR sword.
Whichever you get, James, just fill us in with lots of pictures and glorious details. ;D I wish DSA made a Glamdring. I thought that they did, but I can't find it.

Yes. James is a Lord of the Rings fan, hence why he got Anduril, and wants Sting and the Ranger sword. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and James is into the LotR blades, so I'd reccommend he just stuck with what he knows he likes for now. Nothing wrong with that.

I might stray with my next purchase and pick up a SGC Yamakami 9260 Spring Steel Katana actually. I really like the looks of it. Plus I have heard good things about the 9260 blades. I think it would make a good all around cutter. While the LOTR swords can be mainly for display. sbg-sword-store.sword-buyers-guide.com/yamakami.htmlI just need to find out more info on it. Maybe there is a review somewhere.

Looks like a good choice for a cutter, James. Cheness gets good reviews, don't think you can go wrong there. I got one tho a cheaper model than the one your looking at and I like it a lot. So I figure that one will be super.

Psh, at least toss around a FEW targets with one of the DSA blades. They're just itching to kill some plastic!
Oh, that SGC is a great looking blade. The only thing I dont like is the brown ito. But that's just me.

I have a Yamakami and it's a beastly sword. It cuts better than all of my friend's katanas and medieval swords. I have contests against my friends and this sword has never let me down. It makes me feel like im an expert with a katana lol.
The edge retention is good too. I beat it on wood all the time and it's edge is still paper cutting sharp. The width of the blade makes it look like a katana on steroids lol.

I like to live dangerously. You heard it here first, Aaron is a law-breaker. No one takes my mask away.
