whoops forgot to mention although i think it looks fantasctic (and fully functional)im not sure about the handling its heavy at over 4 pounds and the reverse curve to the blade may feel odd i still think its an awesome job if i hadnt just emptied my wallet on a raptor id be sorely tempted

Chris is actually a member here and regularly posts his updates and new products in the "manufacturer and vendor talk" section. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1118viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1576viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1457He makes a pretty eclectic range of blades; I love the enthusiasm of Scorpian even though I'm not usually a fan of the hilts and finish. But they make sturdy stuff and their custom order prices are unbeatable. I always thought this was one of their better-looking pieces. I wouldn't be too worried about the handling, what with a 14-inch grip and the amount of taper on the blade (and it's listed as UNDER 4 pounds, not over). It's a beast, but looks like a manageable one-- Chris even throws it around one-handed in a reverse grip. Here's the video if you haven't seen it:
