Hey I was wondering what is the longest anyone has waited for a custom sword, from first contact to sword in hand. For me, I'm about 6 weeks into a 2 year wait. I'd love to post a pic but there are none available at the moment.

Have a few in the works with a couple of smiths. Projection for completion is around 7-8 months from first contact. Some waiting lists are long.

Not sure if semi-custom swords are applicable, but I've been waiting over a year on one.

If anyone orders a custom sword from me right now I guarantee to have it in your hand in 3 weeks or I'll do it for half price. (Excluding collaboration works of course)

That's a great offer Brendan just in time for Christmas.

The longest I have waited is about 10 months... tho I know others who have waited 2 years, even more. I gotta say, Brenno (FableBlades) as stated above is unique in the custom sword world in that everything I have ordered from him was not only amazing, but super quick. He jumps on it and gets it done fast... sends you questions, thoughts photos and all sorts of updates along the way... you feel really plugged into whats going on with him in a way like no other maker has ever done (with me at any rate.) I'm expecting my third custom from him any day now... if you get a chance he is great to work with.

What is the current wait on the KI project? must be 2 years or more now. I'm thinking this will become the longest wait ever as I suspect I will die before receiving it.

That debacle makes my head hurt to think about and I'm convinced I would've ended up on a roadtrip right to "whatsisname's" front door if I had actually been invested in it. Seriously. I figure those involved must have become numb to it...otherwise wouldn't/don't you want to break some(ones) bones?
