hi guys

now that the forum has been up for a while i thought it would be as good a time as any to give a feedback from my personal experience.

Speed Issue:
For me the forum is quite sluggish. not slow in the sense of the word but not very speedy either. Its just.. well sluggish. I had hoped the issue would solve itself (by strategy of aggressive waiting) but that did not happen. I have a 30 mbit connection so i doubt its me. Anyone else noticed that ?

Display / Colour scheme:
Iam not toooooo fond of the colour scheme that is active on the forum pages. I have not found an option to changed that under my user profile. Maybe anyone can help me out. The sandy background makes the letters somewhat hard to read at times the contrast just isn't high enough .

Just my impressions.

Ah HAH!!!

I have had this problem quite a bit as well... and was told that there was no reason for it to happen, that it could not happen, and that I was the only one it happened to. Now I have heard from two others who have had this problem... so it is NOT just me damnit!!! :x

Heh... got a little excited there... sorry bout that. :oops:

Which isnt always a bad thing, but I prefer to edit myself on occasion. :ugeek:

It's happened to me on several occasions but no one listens to me anyway so it was no big deal.

The big thing that drives me nuts is if I go into a topic that's multiple pages, and I'm on page one, and I click onto a youtube link in someones post when I click back it takes me to the last page in the topic.

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT
