I recently received a Unokubi Zukuri Zukuri katana that I ordered fro Huawei Sword on eBay. I know some people have had bad experiences with this company. I had a good transaction. The sword came in about a month. It was a blade that they had advertised on their site on eBay, and I chose the kashirae, saya, and ito. It came well-packed, and there have been no issues. The ito is tight and alternates twists, the sword fits into the saya perfectly with no rattle, the blade is awesome, and I am very pleased. Here are some pictures of the sword.

Hey there, welcome to the forum! So far what I've seen with problems myself and others have had has simply been a longer-than-expected delay. Very few complaints about the quality of the product for the cost. Seriously, being able to get a completely customized DH katana for under $300 is awesome.

Love the purple... I'm surprised it took a month tho. Normally when you order stuff from their Ebay Store its stuff they have in stock. One of the things they did really well when I bought two katana from their Ebay store was ship super quick. Do you think because you chose different fittings and ito is why it took so long?

I'm not really sure it was a whole month. I guesstimated. Anyway, I was not at all anxious about the amount of time it took. I did ask them for a set of kashirae they didn't have listed on-line, so I don't know if that slowed it down or not. I'm really satisfied and will buy from them again in a heartbeat as soon as I can afford another sword. Less than $300 for a sword with a blade like I got is unreal. I just wish I had known about Huawei before I ordered some cheaper swords with fake hamons and folded blades. They're okay, but not early as nice as the Huawei sword.

When you order a sword from their e-bay store you can choose different fittings than the ones it has on it right?

Sometimes the list a sword with options... and sometimes not. Whenever you scroll down one of their listings, it will show multiple ito and fittings options if they are offering such on that sword.

I have sent Jacky pictures of two sets of kashirae that I had seen on another eBay seller's website and asked him if he could get them, even though they weren't any of the options they offered. In both cases, he said he could get them. I think they are willing to be very accommodating for their customers. I e-mailed him recently and asked if they would ever offer some iron or steel tsubas (other than the Musashi tsuba they offer on their 1060 TH swords) and he said they were considering it. Maybe they do listen to the buyers. Anyway, I am a satisfied customer and I will probably buy another sword from them.

I actually got the same fittings as this one but unfortunately he's put the kashira on upside down. Especially with this design its very noticable. Other than that its a perfect sword
