Oh god, please never, EVER implement flash in any part of this site. My phone doesn't support it and I spend almost as much time here through my phone, be it at work, traveling, or whatever my reason for not being at my desk, and I'd absolutely hate it if I couldn't access SBG anymore because it's flash now. ![:(](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) I have it bad enough with all the threads and posts centered on YouTube videos. ![:'(](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)

Don't worry about that. Flash is a waste of time. Looks pretty, but does nothing useful - and you won't be seeing it anytime soon on SBG! ![;)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

No worries guys! It has been a lot of very hard work, but it is fun to see it more or less complete... Now back to business as usual! ;D And a few more of the new 2.0 pages... ![;)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

As long as you put a border around the white backgrounds, I don't thinks it looks that bad. Background looks good too... ![:)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

have you thought of upgrading the forums at all? maybe going with phpBB on the actual sbg site?

I have considered it. But the thing is, the current forums are kind of non-transferrable.. So we'd lose everything here, or at least - this forum would become kind of archived. I think that this version works ok really. It does pretty much everything I want it to do. Though I always welcome any ideas and suggestions. ![:)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) have you thought of upgrading the forums at all? maybe going with phpBB on the actual sbg site?

My experience with "fancier" boards have been unsatisfactory. Lots of bells and whistles and not much practical advantage over what we have. Plus lots of them cost an arm and a leg every month.

THEY CHARGE YOU FOR UPDATES. makes me mad just thinking about it. but yeah, losing content is lame. it seems like there's always a trade-off. but in the end, all threads die
