hey guys found this site while browsing; www.omegaartworks.com/some of the work looks pretty good in my opinion, not upto the standards of Bro B but not too bad. Not sure how good quality or anything is from these guys but I do like the look of some of their offerings.

Had a look at some of the work on the site. Not sure how functional its meant to be? Look at the habaki on this......... www.omegaartworks.com/portfolio.php?art=80it looks like brass just bent around the blade......$1800? ??

Thanks, Blood, for posting that URL. Always nice to have a new sword site to look at. Jim

mrfatbucket raises a good point about that habaki. man that's ugly.
I must say I did like the design of their elephant cup and knuckle bow hilt but I don't see a single blade of theirs that looks in any way like something I would enjoy. just not my cup o' tea I guess.
all that said they do seem to have some pretty designs
meh, whatever, it's not for me

I know nothing about the site, but I find it amusing that buried among the $100-$250 daggers and swords are $1,800-$3,000 sculptures and the like.

Hm... some of their stuff looks beyond ugly.... I do like that funky lookin' wood and whatever else they use for the handles. Anybody know much about this 'dymondwood'? This is all I've got from google: "DymondWood is thin layers of real wood that have been dyed and are bonded together with phenolic resin under tremendous heat and pressure." Wonder why I've never seen any of that on swords before. Is it a functionality thing? Or an expenses thing? I do like the green wood thing though. Makes me think of ol' Georgie's sword, although that's green dyed ivory. americanhistory.si.edu/militaryhistory/collection/object.asp?ID=728

'Dymondwood'= plywood made with dyed layers. used to see this on lots of flea market knives years ago.

I was thinking the Google description sounded an awful lot like plywood or pressboard.
Who is "Bro B"?

"What Great Knockers" The swords are "eh". The Anthropomorphic Hilt is great. The blade, not so much.
