I'd like to see some deeper sori, thicker blades, and an O kissaki. Kamakura era blade maybe...

Haha, you and me both! We'll have to wait and see what happens.

OH! OH! and full same wraps... even if it was lower quality imagine what a selling point that would be... would probably be worth the price increase. I know i'd love it and would pay extra for it.

I think that'd be worth it on something representative of a Kamakura tachi, myself.

Midori, I just love your reviews! I always check to see if there is a new one by you before going anywhere else on the boards. I am becoming a fan of the Munetoshi swords and am eagerly awaiting more reviews on them. do you know when this manufacturer started producing them or if the forge produces any other brand names?
btw, I really like your "other life" site. I have a 5 year old female ball and she is such the camera ham. I have been considering a blood for some time but I think it's a big step up from the ball, any advice on that?
anyway, great review as always ;D

Thank you very much, Frank! I should have a new one up later today or tomorrow; I've had a long week so I pushed my personal deadline back a bit.
As far as I know, Munetoshi is only a couple years old and the forge SnA works with is really willing to listen to what is wanted. I don't know much else about it unfortunately.
Thanks! Balls are really awesome snakes, and I really miss mine. I've found I prefer red tails just a touch though; I've never had a problem getting my red tail to eat, but every one of my ball pythons were picky.
I suggest if you want a blood, you do A LOT of research first. They're very difficult snakes to take care of and a huge step up from a ball. They don't have the best dispositions usually and they get heavy. I've found tree boas to be easier to care for than bloods are. A blood is a really serious commitment and not to be entered into lightly. That being said, I still love them and they are one of my favorite species of snake.
Again, thank you! ^_^
