It does take balls to post that publicly Slayer, I'll give you that. I'm surprised that, in looking into SBG and in looking into FableBlades, you did not realize that Brenno had at that point been a member here for some time. Also... I just thought of something. PM comming.

Thanks Sean. ;D ...I think... lol I had never checked out the forum at that point, actually, I was just a fan of the main site. In fact, I hadn't even realized that there WAS a forum! I had read Brenno's reviews on the main site, but I didn't make the connection between 'Brenno in Australia', and 'Brendan in Perth, Australia' until quite a bit later. Heck, I sent that email the very DAY that I learned about FableBlades. I stumpled upon a Aus sword forum, and while poking around saw a post from earlier that day, which happened to be Bren's intro post onto that forum! Coincidences abound, lol. ;D Anyway, he had a pic of his work in his sig (or maybe it was a link... ), and I checked out his site. Behold! Perfection. ;D So, quickly seeing that the listed prices, while extremely reasonable, were well outside my (then) $100 pricepoint, I emailed him. ;D Funny enough, the title 'SlayerofDarkness' didn't start with SBG either. The address I sent this email from was called the same. anyway, sorry for the rant! ;D I'll look forward to hearing whatever it is that you're PMing me about... color me curious! Later, Slayer

Slayer........ that was too funny! ;D I don't think I'd have had the courage to post it if it had been me! Heck better than a free sword you made a friend out of your attempted ?scam?.

LOL... it wasn't actually meant to be a scam, which is what cracks me up so much. I really thought that it would work! Not 'work' as in 'get a free sword', but 'work' as in 'make Brenno famous'. Incredibly embarissing, but still very funny. ;D -Slayer

I must also admit to never having seen that movie. So.. um... which line are you refering to? ;D -Slayer as ebon said, early in the play (Act 2) there is a rant from the porter...we hear there that some lawyer, who could equivocate on any situation could not equivocate his way out of hell, to equivocate being bending the facts in such a way as to say the truth, but a very skewed one (lol, that came out more harsh that I meant to say, we still love you Slayer) for your general enjoyment: Faith, here's an equivocator, that could swear in both the scales against either scale; who committed treason enough for God's sake, yet could not equivocate to heaven: O, come in, equivocator.

I must also admit to never having seen that movie. So.. um... which line are you refering to? ;D -Slayer The only movie version of Macbeth I've seen was terrible. On the other hand, Throne of Blood, a samurai movie based on Macbeth by Akira Kurosawa, is incredible. Watch that. Now.

Actually if you want to see a great version of Macbeth, then I suggest you see the Roman Polansky version. Pleanty of blood and sword play and the acting is awesome!

As for Slayah and Brenden airing thier dirty laundry on this thread, I feel it is in poor taste. You guys should try PM's IMO. I left a hint earlier, guess it didn't matter. When fellow swordmakers have an agenda they can stay off my stinkin threads, ain't the first time. Sorry moderators. In reguards to the guy in question who asked me for the tri-sword, he is legit. His name is Sazzy Aiken, he also made a billion flicks most B movies but a recent one I liked was "The Butcher" with Eric Roberts. Just wish to hell he had offered some cold hard ones for my efforts instead of supposed fame. Most folks who know swords know me by now, for better or worse:)

Oops, sorry about that, John. Good point... My bad! I actually didn't catch the hint... but I rarely do. I'll take a look at that movie, thanks for the tip... Good to know that the guy was legit, although it stinks that he supposedly had no budget. You could've made a great functional rendition of this fantasy blade, I'm sure. ;D -Slayer

For some reason. Movie people never want to pay. They have the largest budgets but never want to pay for swords. My exp with this sort of thing has always ended up in headaches.

When fellow swordmakers have an agenda they can stay off my stinkin threads, ain't the first time. Sorry moderators. Excuse me Jon? I'm just trying to share a laugh with a mate, which was relevant to the thread. What is your problem with me? Threatened by my art? Think I'm theiving your clientel? The only thing this is not the first time for is you being agressive to me when I am simply trying to enjoy the forum and chat. I don't know what "agenda" you think I have. Trying to take your wallet from you? C'mon man, Chill out. It's a public meeting yard - don't try to bully me. As for fellow swordmakers, I would like to thank Dan Davis and Sam Salvati, Old Gaffer, Tom K. (et.al.), from all the people here, for all their support and encouragement and help. These guys always make time to help people who will help themselves and further the community by nurturing enthusiasm. The spirit of SBG is sharing of information, and the blossoming of new talent. Have you looked around at what's going on at this place, got involved? Information is shared freely and liberally for the benefit of all. Is this really a forum you want to be part of Jon? I ask because you have shown that you will not share any information with your compadre's, or help fellow enthusiasts. You just proved my point and no, I'm not affraid of your art. I have helped makers through the years and against my wishes they in turn went all over the internet with it. Folks can go to you and them and get all the information they want, or they can ask me in private. I do like it here, maybe not for the reasons you do. Out of respect for the trade I don't go on your threads or anyone elses and start with folks, nore do I ask for help from anyone on the internet, just how I am no big deal. I would share a Foster's with you but that is about it.
