Does anyone have experiences with Deepeeka saxon long sword? www.kultofathena.com/images%5CAH3306_l.jpgIt looks something like a barbarian spatha and its hilt looks acceptable as it costs only about 80€. I dont know why, but still something is not ok with its looks (in those photos). Thanks for links to second hand shops, I will check them next.

I have heard really bad things about Deepeeka and not one good review. ever. this has scared me off of them and I have never held one and I don't plane to unless I start hearing MUCH better comments about them. but I doubt that is going to happen.

I wouldn't- the Deepeeka is probably not worth the cost of shipping. I understand you did say cheap and this is as cheap as you'll get- but you also said functional (well, you said battle ready, but that term is ubiquitous at best) and this most likely will not be.

I think Cepheon's post said all we need to know about that particular sword. I can't read the stuf written below the link but if you click on that link you'll have all the info you need to make a decision.

/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=13161&page=1 Ei hyvältä näytä.. Ei niin. Kiitos tiedosta! I think we should keep communicating in English so that everyone understands. Do you happen to have swords? If you do where did you buy them from? I think Cepheon's post said all we need to know about that particular sword. I can't read the stuf written below the link but if you click on that link you'll have all the info you need to make a decision. Yes thanks, the link was very useful.
