I have toyed with mounting a laser sight on a sword, but can't think of a practical reason to do so, but it would look cool, at least to those that didn't know better

when I saw the title of this thread my first thought was "this is NOT going to be good." but I read it anyway.
the video is by youtube guy michaelcthulhu who has post a large number of VERY entertaining videos check out his channel it's worth many good laughs.
but umm the electric swords had nothing to do with car batteries which would never throw that much spark anyway but rather they used an arcwelder here's a quote from on of the other electrified sword videos:

Well, not only could you fend off a swarm of electrified zombies, you would still have the ability to effect repairs on your Urban Survival Combat vehicle.
The number of times that I have said to myself" Man if I only had an arc welder hooked up to my bastard sword I would rule the known universe" are beyond count.
The sword would even cauterize the cut, negating the need for cleaning up your patio after cleaving a marauding brain eater.

Well............I dunno about the whole electric sword idea, but I once had a ex-wife who had this gizmo that resembled an oversized Viking sword minus the blade more than anything else. It used a few "D batteries." I was kinda scared of it. HAHAHAHA +1! ;D ;D Hilt, grip, pommel.....that whole thing was about 11" long! scaaaaaary.

I wonder if I could get one small enough to fit inside my hilt before Monday's practice? Or maybe a set of cross-hair sights about 6" back from the tip?

You know, they make some pretty small laser pointers these days. And those tend to be pretty tough. I'm sure you could figure out how to attach one to your hilt...
Make sure you take pictures. We want to see how it works.

I want a sword with GPS. Type in the target and type of cuts then: Lift sword above head begin cut and veer edge to left at 45 degrees. Proceed through cut accelerating to 100mph at point of impact. Cut through turning your hips to support sword. In three feet you have reached your destination. You have reached your destination. Raven
