It's very pretty. Of course, with the batteries, it can't be anything but a wallhanger, so why Not make it out of SS? Ah well.
Interesting video, btw, rottenpunk.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry... definitely cry... it should be banned for any kind of metal to be used for such purposes... as for the vid, it definitely looks holywood like in terms of the sparks and the lousy execution...

That sword looks horrible to me, but I was never a big fan of teh thundercats.
As for the video though, that would be a really cool thing to have in a stage production of some sort. not accurate at all, no, but pretty impressive looking.

Now I'm thinking a sword with a headlight on it might be nice for night cutting.

What's the big deal? It's obviously a wall hanger. There is much worse out there.

Re: Car batteries-- How do you think they got the electrical flashes in the first "Highlander" movie in the final fight scene with MacLeod and The Kurgan? Watching 'the making of' portion, I heard that the swords got really hot as a result. Re: Thundercats sword-- Well . . . somebody out there will buy it, most likely for cosplay or something. --Edward

Thunder...Thunder...THUNDERCATS! What, I was a Lion-O fan as a kid and wanted that sword. Huh.
Come to think of it, it seems I may have been surrounded by swords of some sort since childhood, only the memories are slow in coming at times.

Well............I dunno about the whole electric sword idea, but I once had a ex-wife who had this gizmo that resembled an oversized Viking sword minus the blade more than anything else. It used a few "D batteries." I was kinda scared of it.

Boy how I thought it was such a cool sword fight back then...and now that I know much more about swords, not to mention train...ah well still one of my favorite moveis. And I grew up loving ThunderCats, but not enough to buy that.
