Once again says to not do it...use the same awful platform that should not be used...but this cut unlike the last can´t be done safely even if you had a better platform. Once in the air and twisting like that, you have no recourse from errors...if fact you can see that he almost chopped off his own knee cap doing that.

I think his warning message should read: Do not try this if you have more than half a brain. The way he landed and then lost his balance I could see bad things happening there and what the hell, he looked like he was using a jian replica? What about his you beaut self made swords? Why didn't he use one of those?
As to leaping from a chair through a 180 with a razor sharp piece of steel in his hand, I predict that this guy will soon be in line for a darwin award. Ah stupidity, how you have a habit of being self perpetuating. Also I wouldn't be surprised if we traced wolfking's IP and found that it was the king of stupidity himself under another ID. This kind of stuff makes me really sad that people take him so seriously.

personally I am NOT looking forward to part 8. in fact I hope it never comes. my point is this: we have justifiably beat this guy up for his extreme stupidity and I think everybody here agrees his methods are at least undisireable if not outrageously dangerous and stupid. We've made our point. I think to continue to evaluate every single video the guy puts out is not only an effort of futility but also unbecoming of us and what we stand for. I think it's time we step back. he's not going to change because of us and we can only harm our own cause by continued critism as it will start to appear that we are head-hunting or persecuting the guy.
I agree the man is a danger to his students and most people he encounters, irresponsible and unrepenting, but I don't want to be guilty trying to right a wrong with another wrong.
enough already, I say.

This one wasn't so bad, at least.

In the case of ChosonNinja, Tom, I disagree with you. This guy is such an epic tool, such a complete caricature of a guy, that I feel not a single moments regret for enjoying much laughter at his expense. I'm sorry... but this guy is just such a fruit-basket that I just can't summon that level of respect for him at all.

it's not an issue of respect for him (because I have no respect for him) but rather a respect for myself and this wonderful community. I don't want to see us lower ourselves by giving this one guy too much scrutiny to the point it could be seen an attack or who knows what. that and I'd HATE to see a lawsuit start up over our bashing of the guy, no matter how richly he deserves it.
nope, my concern is for us, not him. just because he crosses one line doesn't mean we should cross another.

Lawsuit? Argh... I am so sick to death of hearing that as a means for people to impose their will on others... I think the next person that even mentions one to me (and happens to be physicly in my pressence) I will punch in the face, giving them cause for civil and criminal actions. THATS how sick to death I am of hearing the threat of lawsuits. Edit: Just so you know, I am by no means directing that at YOU Tom, I love ya ya little puddle pirate... thats just some built up beef I have.

oh I understand your frustration Sean, and even share it but I have to admit to the reality that it COULD happen and besides, it just doesn't seem right for us to constantly give the love to this one guy. let's get a few videos of other idiots doing stupid things before the next Choson silliness is shared around. I mean the world is chock full of dummies, surely we can find a few other examples, besides this guy is too easy to hit.
<Tom - who is looking for some variety (lol! did I get this sig form right?)

I kinda agree with Tom. It's sorta like giving attention to a disruptive child. Having said, when this man, or whatever he is, posts a video on the web, he opens himself up to scruntiny and laughs. Quite frankly I believe we're well within our rights to criticize his teaching methods and videos. He'll only go away when it's too late. Either when he hurts someone or one of his followers hurts themselves or another. If anyone should be worried about a lawsuit, it should be him.

I'm amazed he hasn't had a lawsuite yet to be quite honest. perhaps that's his real ninja skill, avoiding the law. it's only a matter of time. I just hope it won't come at the loss of another person. if Greg Parks ends himself doing one of his cheeze-ball stunts then I'd be happy to give him a Darwin Award, chuckle and move on with my life. but I'll be very very sad if he harm another. sadly, I am convinced I know which is more likely.
I fully support the idea of searching out sword-related stupidity and attacking it rationally. I'm just saying this target has had enough fire that our protestations are going to lose what little impact they had to begin with. it follows the law of diminishing returns you see. . .

and that's why it has spilled over into our forum Ric. because, you see, Choson Ninja has to approve any comment made on his videos so only his cheerleaders get their posts approved. there's always Scottbayoisdead, that guy seems to exist to counter choson ninja. which is too bad because he has his own things he wants to do but people keep buggin him about Choson Ninja.

Just wait. It is only a matter of time until my ultimate plan to stop his foolishness begins - ChosonKnight. As the saying goes, "Fight fire with fire". Thank you for the karma Shadowhowler, I didn't know if anybody else would appreciate the humor.

Well it may have to come to forums. Youtube isn´t exactly a free speech medium. In fact greg parks has enough pull with youtube that he is getting people who oppose his idiocy banned from youtube. I know of at least 2 people who´s accounts have been suspended because they have spoken out against him and several others who have received a stop and desist message from youtube that threated to suspend accounts.

It is worth a try. I can easily organize an anti-Greg Parks movement on youtube, because I actually have a group of loyal youtube friends that will publicly "flame" anyone I want. All you have to do is make videos telling people why he is a bad example - in a polite manner - and logically explain that what he is doing promotes dangerous activities.

Well, there is enough of a youtube flamewar as it is. No need to add to that mess. It´s gone horribly wrong on both sides. Clear explaination of what he is doing wrong is fine...but it´s those that get involved in the flame wars that gets the viewers while those who do little thing to explain it all gets suspended (because of low viewership, the are easy to squash).
