Nice work, it took a while for you to get to cutting the squash, the stem doesn't count!!

I love cutting stuff like pumkins and watermelons... but I don't do it often because I feel guilty about wasting the stuff.

Composting is good I see you've improved your footwork a bit (landing during the impact of the thrust). As you can see, it helps a bit. Now try it on the cut! M.

We had gone to a market the day before and these were in the discount bin, (age?), so I thought what the heck. -gaffer

Ric, it is funny watching myself. I don't realize I am putting that much effort into it :>)
I did work on my foot work.. thanks for the tips M!
..and thanks for all of the nice comments.. I have a lot to learn yet, but dog-gone.. it is sure fun.
Also, you may notice I have a real stand now (as opposed to a sump pump container). I have a couple of adjustments to make on it and then I will post some pictures of it.

Thanks Gaffer! Great idea about the zucchini...I planted waayyy too many plants this year and instead of dropping it in my neighbors mailboxes at night I can cut them up ;D. I probably will compost them, but I bet you could put some plastic down and salvage some, or just wash it off....three second rule +1 (when I can) for the new zucchini recipe

Nice cutting there, yog. Now that's what I call a cutting stand! Looks like you could cut full 5 gal. jugs on that thing!
djm, I think you should make some zucchini bread and send it to all us poor single guys who don't know how to bake, or at least me. ;D

or you could just learn to bake? It really isn't that hard, I love cooking and baking almost as much as I like my swords, made laksa last night, goes really well with soy sauce in it, yum! Never heard of zucchini bread though, sounds interesting, can you do the same thing with eggplant?

What on earth is a laska? I've never heard of it Zucchini bread's the only way I'll eat zucchini; raw tastes off to me. I do enjoy baking, but unfortunately for me I live with people who are deathly allergic to good food. M.

I love laksa, but I don't usually add soy sauce, just tofu. It's so hard to find a laksa paste without prawns. My wife is a tops cook. I'll have to suggest Zucchini bread. We've never had it. Zucchini is her favourite ingredient when she cooks. Someone toss me their you-beaut zucchini bread recipe.
BTW Laksa is like a soup with noodles and vegies, coconut milk, and the laksa flavouring.
