Hey guys! So I wasn't entirely sure where to put this, so don't give me crap if I misplaced it again. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here knows what these two belts are like. man-at-arms belt and Ranger belt www.christianfletcher.com/Christian_Fletcher/Sword_Belts/Sword_Belts.htmlalso, it says it's 35 extra dollars for the "hand forged buckle", if I don't order that, will it not come with a buckle at all? Also if you have had any experience with them, mostly how long I can expect this $75-$95 piece of leather to last. thanks in advance

While i have not personally seen either of these,i have heard they (the company) are of good quality. They look the same other than a little different design, but are the same hangers in general. 1 buckle strap suspension & the other lace. As for life,if you take care of any leather & keep it clean & don't use it for a car tow strap, etc, should last for VERY long time.Just depends on how much you use it & weight of sword or item. Mine are from my leather armorer & are in great shape through the years. As for the buckle,I'm sure they come with a standard buckle, if you opt to order the custom one they toss that on. I would direct those questions to the company directly. They do look very nice for the money ! Sounds like a fair price with or without the buckle.

Hey, Musical! I recently emailed Christian Fletcher about these items, as I'm quite interested in them as well. Here's the email I sent him: And here's the friendly email I recieved in response (within 15 minutes, I might add! ): I hope this helps! -Slayer EDIT: Spelling.

Thanks Slayer, very helpful. I E-mailed him about one of his custom swords I had dreams about, but unfortunately it's no longer available thanks for the info on the belts though +1

No problem, I'm glad I could help. I you get one, please do a review on it. I know, I know... it's not a weapon, per se. however, it would be very helpful to hear a firsthand opinion on this...
Personally, I like the Ranger belt, but the Man-at-Arms is cool too.

I've got the Ranger belt. I don't really have alot of compaints. It looks good, fits well, and the sword hangs at a great angle. The forged buckle upgrade is not really worth the money in my opinion, it looks great with the standard buckle and matches the rivets and smaller frog buckle better.
One compaint I did have: When I got mine for Christmas, CF forgot to add leather sealant to the belt. I ended up with black dye residue all over everything. I am not sure if this was an oversight or they all come like this. Now, I was able to seal the belt myself, but if you don't know how to do this or have the sealant, you are going to spend about another hour in labor and $10 at Hobby Lobby to keep it from bleeding dye all over your clothes and hands.
