Hello!! I know the dolabra isn't a sword but its origins are roman .. so my questions are: Was the dolabra used in combat or was just a tool? Was just a ancient roman pick axe ?? ( or was used in medieval italian ages?) Do you know where can i purchase a nice cheap dolabra pick axe? I saw the deepeeka's pick axe but there's something I don't like.. I don't think that the pick head is well secured to the wooden shaft . (is not pinned) . kultofathena.com/images%5CAH3936_2_l.jpgWell guys teach me !

The dolbra was the issue intrenching tool for the legion , the equivelant to a folding shovel used by modern armies .
