Hello guys!!!.. I was cleaning and working a piece of land near my backyard and I was looking at my pick ... and I was thinking to myself ... is it possible that in the middle ages existed a medieval pick? and how was it? .. (i was daydreaming) I realize that this tool could make a serial damage in a plate armor.. or perhaps in foot combat as two handed weapon.. like the war hammer or the two handed axe.. Do you know if this tool existed in the middle ages?? or was just a tool, is just I can't imagine a knight or an armored foot soldier crushing armors with a pick.. just the idea seems radical

I think some war hammers had pick ends.

There are plenty of examples of war picks. Most on the opposite face of the Warhammer, but many as just the pick.

Firstly, they probably work better when they are small enough to wield with one hand. Secondly, you must remember how small people were back in those days...
