Yeah it came out pretty good, it has some light and dark spots. I think it came out pretty good since I hand sawed it and dyed it. Now I am gluing some inside to snug up the blade, which is loose on the blade.

Nice... she's looking good now... ;D Yeah, I shimmed my DSA Gothic Two Handed at the mouth of the scabbard, as we talked about before. Now it fits great and can be turned upside down without falling out. the suede looks great and probably feels great too. I have green suede on my DSA. +1 from me for giving her a good home.

Unfortunately when I shined it, it lost all of its softness. If I really cared about it being soft I could have left it the color of the fabric, but I wanted it to match. I guess if I really want to experiment with stuff I got most of the 3 full yards still, I would experiment with the dye and have all sorts of fun making a new cover some day. As it is now there is nothing holding it on except for friction.
