Thanks, Kidcasa ;D! I know about the 'search' feature, but for some reason it doesn't work for me . No matter what I select or search for, it comes up with 'no results found'. I even searched for 'swords' and it said that, lol! Thanks for the link, though. -Slayer

The default setting is 7 days and 10 results... I usually change that to 700 days and 100 results..that should help you

I am not 100% sure this is the sword he designed for the competition as he had a whole slew of them and I vaguely remember asking permission to have this one custom made and him saying yes. I could swear he presented another one for the competition.

Ramm submitted a lot of designs fro the compitition, and this one won the 'Historical' division.

I dunno, the drawing seems to have a much different feel to the blade. If I were going to pick this on up I would have to make it as close to the drawing as I could.

DSA simplified the design to make it a budget peice. That's why it's only $215, instead of around $250-$300 like the other DSA's.

As far as i know, Ramm approved it.
I believe that Eyal's planning to make the elaborate version pretty soon as well, although I can't remember where I saw that... Maybe the next production run?
He mentioned somewhere that they have a bunch of new pieces...

Yeah I heard about the more accurate version coming out. But then again we haven't heard what rammy thinks about his sword in the short time he was around. Maybe he'll come back to pip in . In anycase, I wouldn't really call that sword what rammy designed. His design had some pretty specific numbers attached to em and all...and it really doesn't fit.

Maybe, I really don't know anything about the 'type whatever's' and all that, lol.
Regardless, it seems to be a great sword. According to Jason at AoV, it handles quite well. I know you have a thing against DSA, but I really think that the grayson will turn out to be a winner.
I'll let you know though, because I'll be getting one in a few weeks.

Maybe?!? Rammy's design is suppose to be 41 inches overall...the greyson is 36.5. The blade of 32.5 inches got cut down to 27.5. Leaving the weight issue aside and the simplified design, there is no maybe about this. The stats just do not match up.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I was saying it WAS accurate to his design, because, of course, I haven't looked at the original measurements. However, both the Flame of Angels and the Guardian were altered before production WITH THE DESIGNER'S APPROVAL. After the design won, I expect that ramm and Eyal had a lengthy discussion about modifying the design to be better/lighter/whatever. While the currant production may not be true to the original concept art, it is probably idintical to the design Ramm and Eyal settled on. See what I mean? We probably don't have all the 'behind-the-scens' info on this. Just my $.02 I don't believe I said anything that could be taken as an insult, but if I did, please know that it was not meant that way. Thanks! -Slayer EDIT: How on earth did I spell 'said' as 'siade'?

Umm I have no idea about Rammy, but I do know Adam was told nothing about the changes to his design. In fact he is quite unhappy because he was told nothing until the final version apeared on his doorstep. As for behind the scene between rammy and eyal...well very much possible...but I haven't personally talked to rammy about it. Like I said, be interested in hearing what he has to say about the sword that bears his name . No insult taken BTW...I'm kinda like this normally...and I have a thick skin. It's hard to insult me so don't fret .

Ok, cool. Same here, lol! Yeah, I heard about Adam's issues... Maybe there was a communication error? It doesn't seem to me like Eyal would do that intentionaly, but then again, eveyone slips up sometimes, eh? I do know from his review that Jason Woodard was kept quite up to date on any changes, and I'm sure he got the chance to have input. On a side note, does anyone know if Ramm'll come back? I kinda miss him , lol! ;D He seemed like a nice guy...
