G'day Y'all, Just looking at the Cold Steel cutlass...again... and noticed that they've got some new swords! A new, lighter (and more expensive) Gim, with matching dagger, a "Chinese Sword Breaker"- (at the weight, I'd call it a wrist-breaker), and a very sweet-looking light civilian saber. We probably won't see these here in Oz for a while, so if any of you good folk in the U.S of A get a chance to handle any of them, I for one would love to hear your impressions! Check it out- www.coldsteel.com/swords.htmlHappy Drooling! Cheers Marc E

the civilian saber looks very similar to the german naval swords to me, with the folding guards and overall look. you can see what I mean at www.stromloswords.com/german_swords.htmland poohze, I have a base in Canberra to get whatever you want from this site - and/or to help aussies order stuff from USA in general. cheers, rob

Great. Another company jumping on the "Fu Dog = Lion" bandwagon...
Aside from that faulty bit of research in the description, I like the sword and dagger combo. Though I have to wonder if the Chinese really used daggers like that...

Hmm nice looking swords but I've never been a fan of CS swords. They have nice knives and great spear heads though.

I like the sword breaker...seriously. It makes me wonder just how devestating such a weapon would be in combat....Perhaps If I can procure one at a cheaper price I will take the plunge, but not at a staggering $450. That just seems ridiculous to me. 0-0!!
