I own a Stainless Steel wallhanger from China. It was actually bought in China, and created for the sake of Display only, so any functionality on it's part is a bit of a fruitless endeavor.
I was wondering if I was able to do a review on it.
The reason I ask is not only because it can't really cut, but also because I don't know who made the blade, or even where it was bought in China. (It was a gift, so details weren't as important.)

generally, we don't do reviews on non-functional swords. If you PM Paul he may say it's ok, but it's also sort of pointless to review a sword that no one can get (seeing as it wasn't an online purchase). I hope this helps, mate, and welcome to SBG!

What the hell...if you want to share ... hell yeah, write it up!!! There are no rules about sharing stuff like that...share away.. granted there are guidelines on reviews for points..and for mainpage reviews... but share whatever you want.

Very well written of Marc. There is enough space on the forum imo for reviews of swordlike whatever. Perhaps it´s interesting, who knows and why not.

Yeah, good point! +1 marc, for once I was being limiting and you rightfully (and effectively!) disagreed. Thanks for making your point!

Certainly do the review if you want. I recall someone winning a contest with a review of a couple bokken. Whatever you do don't use the point system, Pandoras box, that.

Alright, thanks! I'll get on to doing the review eventually. But eventually is a very loose term for me. Thanks!

Well, you could always start with "It is a very attractive and reliable piece of steel - having never let me down during the entire time I have owned it. I can always depend upon it to be hanging there... even when the battle is raging outside my door."
