If you do buy one don't get the san-mai. They screwed up the lamination and the hardened edge isn't showing on a large part of the blade...
edit: ewww their handle wrap is crappy too but then again I'm used to my Zheng Wu Han which is alot more expensive.

Thanks, garrettc. I'm actually split betw getting the san-mai and the mono steel version - I like the look of san-mai blade (as in their pix) but I prefer the scabbard of the other Your feedback thus makes my decision a lot more easier ;D As with the scabbard & hilt wraps, I intend to try my hands to do a little re-work using black silk cord. But I'll have to 1st scrutinized how it's done on the sword & gather enough courage before jumping into it. My major concern is the credibility of the seller, that's why my this post. Anyone has dealt with / heard of them before? Any feedback is welcome!

I took a calculated risk & ordered the cheaper of the 2 Chinese Han replica sword after the guy from BadTrack.Blade answered my email inquiries. I estimated that it'll take about 14 days to reach my door-step, afterwhich I shall keep you guys posted of any updates. Watch this thread - for those interested in ancient Chinese replica swords

I don't think the seller is a bad guy. His ebay feedback is pretty decent. As long as you know what you're getting it will be fine. For under $200 I think you'll be happy.

lol74, there don't seems to have any 'Buy it Now' option for that sword you linked to BUT there's another similar one with 'Buy It Now' option which cost about 699.99USD! But thanks buddy, there's certainly many other interesting swords that caught my attention Will be giving them a biz or 2 in the near future... after my savings got refilled

Has anyone heard of Zhefei Gun before? Katana1980 (linked to badtrack.blade) quote him as being the maker of their higher end swords?
