Yea, the thread is pretty much about the title. I may be getting one of these from a friend. What do you guys know about the sword?

BTW it is the one with the folded steel blade. How would you rate the structural integrity?

Depends. There are good ones, there are bad ones. I got bad one after quite enough research here and on myarmoury. After cutting it got little cracks about 20cm from the tip and I gave it back to the shop and took a Del Tin St. Maurice as a replacement.

Mine was great... I loved it... But i got it for $150 , and sold it for $300, so I just couldn't keep it... mine had no issue, and cut fine

I don't know anything about the GT designation but I assume it's the same Godfred I used to own, possibly an upgraded version.
I quite liked mine, served me very well for over a year and a half before unemployment made me sell it. I wonder how it's doing with its new owner...
In the beginning the line had some problems but for the most part they've been adjusted. I say find the lowest price you can and have a go.

Dude, if you are getting it for free, which I assume you are, go for it. You have nothing to lose.
