I'm very happy - two swords for Christmas from my family: 1796 Light Cavalry Sabre and 1822 Light Cavalry Trooper Sabre. They are both from here = www.militaryheritage.com/swords2.htmWhen things quieten down around here, I'll post a detailed report since I have noticed some interest on items from Military Heritage (Discriminating General). Merry Christmas to all ! !

No sharpies for me this year. I made this little camping knife for my mum. It's just a little fruit and cheese type thing for her to have handy. Complete with scabbard with belt loop etc. Cool fun. Lovely bit of York Gum Burl for the scales. Jarrah for the scabbard. Steel was recycled from an old chefs knife blade.

Wow...and again, a very nice job from Brenno! Well, I ended up with a wallhanger dagger (the 'shaman dagger' from KoA), a buck pocketknife, a sword frog, a dagger frog, and, best of all, the Windlass Vernuiel sword! (I'm freaking out it's so cool!) Oh, and a gift card to home depot so I can get the tools to start customizing my blades; or even start making my own! Thanks for the inspiration Bren!

I got Guitar Hero: World Tour \m/ Among other things, but I've acquired blisters from drumming these past few days! So clearly Guitar Hero was the favourite...

Money...and an Xbox 360 (w00!). So yeah, the money I received is going towards blades, and more than half I am saving. As for the Xbox...I like to kill stuff on halo with my pals, don't judge! Sal P.S- I wasn't around to wish anyone a happy holidays! So happy new years then! ;D
