Well, my significant other paid for a big chunk of my SBG custom, so, that's a Christmas/birthday present when it gets here. I also got a ton of books, which was just what I wanted! Kendo: the Definitive Guide is the only one that would really be of interest here. A few others... Simpsons Monopoly, some kitchen items (I'm a chef), and this REALLY cool vintage comic book cover calendar. But yeah, mostly the books.

Oh man, where do i start...? Ummmm? I have two swords (well, 3 actually) coming to me in the first week of the new year, so i guess those are sort of X-mas gifts. Have a semi-custom hanakage from ronin swords... An SBG ELITE - Full custom coming from the SBG store... And a limited reproduction of a Kazura Tachi based of of an antique piece coming from Chris Zhou's forge. From the family, i got "Tropic Thunder" (awesome movie!) The Rambo - Complete collection (sweet!) The complete "Sopranos" collection that just came out (amazing) From my brothers girlfriend (who's an artist) she made me a Japanese Plaque symbolizing "strength" in kanji, and a book for doing Daoist meditation. I got my brother and his girlfriend 2 tickets to see "The Blue Man Group" at the Briar Street Theater. 2nd row from the stage right in the middle - PONCHO SEATS! I actually bought 2 ponchos and slipped the tickets in a pocket, so when they were laughing about getting poncho's for X-mas they noticed the tickets, then they realized the gag! Got my parents a luxury dinner cruise on the finest vessel in the Midwest. An evening of dinner and dancing off the shore of the Chicago sklyline, three decks with live music, award winning cuisine and wine lists... the whole nine yards! Great year, i love planning gifts and gags for people! I usually get tricked every year, but this year i came out as the clear "gag victor".

I've met many more people this year with birthdays on or within a day or two of Christmas than I'd known previously in my 24 years. Good to know I don't suffer alone with the whole "Oooh, a CHRISTMAS BABY!! How wonderful!" Yeah, right. Happy birthday to the lady.

Oh no, further gifts making no sword safe in my collection:
Dremel Tool 400XPR with ALL THE TRIMMINGS! Router, planer, flex drive, 100s of bits, etc...
AND
A 4.8V Cordless Dremel.
This can be very good or very bad, depending on how jealous of ShooterMike's ATrim customizations I've become. LOL.
