For what it's worth, I bought a Senshi Tengoku from them and it's a fantastic sword. Everything was in order and the way it should be. The only disappointment was the Ito, which for less than $300, I can deal with. Ah i see , thank you for the info. Hmm would anyone happen to know if the Musashi - Elite Series - Sakura Katana is worth the 200 ? looks really really nice but that could be the display box luring me in somehow www.trueswords.com/musashi-elite-series-sakura-katana-p-3992.html199 for a musashi,,ok,,i am sold to hanwei,,i'll admit but, for less, you couls have great hanwei swords man. the box,,,once you will have open it,what do you think you'll do with it? you will put it in the wardrobe,,because you will be proud to install your sword on the sword stand on the desk lol. so,,the box won't serve anymore. i wanted a box,,,and since i have it,,,it is in the wadrobe mouhahahahaha

honestly i wouldnt choose any of those 3.
for $200 id stick with a cheness mokko or a hanwei practical.
if you can scrape together just a bit more cash then id say, do it, wait, and save for a dynasty forge musha. which is as good as all the other swords mentioned here put together.

Yeah Ronin - Don't buy any of the three you listed. Get a Hanwei Practical Light from Wiwingti. It's very good quality for the price.

I'll toss in my support for the Hanwei Practical Light. You'll get a solid performer for a great price (from wiwingti). Besides, if you're into colorful fittings and what not, future customization is the phrase of the day. Your own personal changes will be more meaningful than mass production fittings anyhow.

If your budget can go slightly over 200, then I would recommend the Cheness Kaze, though it's natural Hamon is not the nicest out there. The Hanwei Practicals are a good choice too.
I own 2 of the Musashi Presentationals (for 200$) and I wouldn't recommend them for cutting really. My review of them is here: /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=6345

Ronin: I'd stay away from the Raijin Katana. Here is a link to me review of it... /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=7269 It's got an attractive blade and it handles well... but it's not a DH blade and the fittings are kinda cheap... and it's only god for VERY light targets are the blade isn't perticularly tough.

no need to customize the hanwei, it's pretty col as is I think. I'm hoping to win one from Wiwingti and ubc. it would be my first hanwei sword. but I like the looks of it.
