29-31 RC is pretty poor for a blade. Up to 60 is news to me but I wonder how the temper goes... Stainless is a no-go over 12" as far as I'm concerned. I'll leave the complicated technical reasons why to those who can say it all better than me.  |

Just because it is magnetic doesn't mean it is crappy. If you are getting all stainless parts for like, motorcycles or cars, those can't be magnetic.
But a lot of the reliable knives on the market today are magnetic, big deal. Doesn't mean it is crappy, and some elemens that are added will make it more magnetic, carbon certainly doesn't help, and Vanadium it paramagnetic (Still, magnetic in some manner). So big deal.

...anyway~ So yeah, I, for one, will be passing on that other site. May or may not pick up one of these CS canes, still debating it, but this review is the only reason I'm even considering one, so my thanks to Mr. Appel. Curse you for making me want to spend money, though.  |

I'm pretty jealous there Charles, like NY - the whole of Australia is a no-go zone for sword canes, but as a collector I feel kind of ripped off by that - especially as they really do round off a collection nicely...
Oh well...
But yes, back to the review itself - very well executed, 25 review points and a karma from me.
