So after work on friday, I was taking out the recycling, and as I was about to throw it in the dumpster an idea sparked in my head. Our recycling almost never comes. That's A LOT of plastic bottles.
So I grabbed a few small take-out plastic bags, and rummaged through the night's recycle bin. After 20 minutes, I had two bags full of plastic bottles (roughly 30 bottles). I promptly ran to throw them in my car
So that's about enough to last me one long cutting session, or a few short ones every week.
I'm so glad I work in a restaurant.

Hm. I just drink a metric ASS-ton of Mountian Dew. You will see in the one review I have done (and hopefully upcoming ones) Mountian Dew Bottles everywhere.

Ah, Evski, you've discovered the secret. I pilfer the recylce bins at my work real regular. I will raid manager office and break room on my break for any empty bottle .I usually get on big garbage bag worth of bottle every 2 weeks ,cut them up and sell them to the recycle place for about $7 .

I've placed a big cardboard box in our lunch room @ work and people bring me empty milk / water gallon & 1/2 gal. jugs constantly. I made a sign for the box that say's ..."Support your local sword-fighter".....

I suppose I should start taking this plastic bottle thing more seriously. I've known about the evil of pumpkins for years - but maybe the real fiend is the secret polymer bottle army.
....................... I'm not demented... really... just practicing.

Shadow, Be careful with that Mountain Dew lest you develop a Metric ton-Ass ;D ;D ;D Heh... ;D It's WAY too late for your warning, I'm afriad... the Dew has already had it's revenge upon me... I have gained 65lbs in the past 3 years. Getting to work on doing something about that just recently, in fact.

I must admit that so far, all my cutting has been on vegetables... but I (still) don't own a sharp, so I guess I wanted to use easy targets with borrowed swords.
Shadowhowler: switch to diet. If you tell me how much pop you drink per day, I'll tell you how much weight that translates to... you'd be surprised.

Shadowhowler: switch to diet. If you tell me how much pop you drink per day, I'll tell you how much weight that translates to... you'd be surprised. I'd sooner switch to water then diet soda... I find diet soda disgusting. I drink anywhere between 60oz to 120oz of soda a day... but no, I wouldn't be surprised at how much wieght it translates to. I KNOW the soda is what gives me my fat ass. It's my only vice. I don't drink (booze), I don't smoke, and I don't do any drugs. Just soda. Way too much soda.
