I always loved this game series and got every one for one system or another. I am really looking forward to this coming out.

Nobody ever made any functional replicas of the swords and knives from the series, though. I wish they did because I would have bought them.

Nice work! You did say they were unwieldy judging from them being made to actual scale from the games. I am wondering if some smaller ones made with less ornate and more spartan fittings would allow them to be more wieldy? It would be interesting to make pieces that can be meant to be used. The closest I have seen to functional use swords of that type would be the shamshir, talwars, and sabers made by Cold Steel.

Thanks. The second set is meant to be usable. That's kind of the thing about fantasy swords though. All the extra junk on them is what makes them fantasy. Once you pare it down to a practical blade shape and functional hilt design it just becomes a regular looking sword.
