A friend drew this sword for me... I'd have the handle shorter, but that was his take on this kind of sabres. Reflingar

Thanks Sam, I'll mention your appreciation to him.
Eventually, I'll have one similar custom made...

Nice. I like hussar sabers of 17th and 18th centuries. I would only add that widened part near the tip they often have.

Thanks Luka,
About the widening part of the blade near the tip, I think it's called a "yelman", I agree that it looks cool but I'd like to have a lighter sabre -one that could thrust also- so I asked my friend doing the drawing for a sabre without one...so we could say it's only loosely inspired by the polish szablas which we're more mean cutters only...

Yes, I understand, this one will be good thruster. And good looking saber overall.

That is a great rendering job for what I assume is pencils only. I would love to see it made, very attractive saber, not something i am very knowledgeable about but I love it none the less.

Thank you, Reisz, I'll mention your appreciation to my friend who did the drawing...yes, he done it with pencils only, he's quite a good illustrator...maybe I'll post some more drawings he made...
I would also like seing it made, maybe one day, when I can justify the considerable spending it should be.
Cheers
