I bought this used the previous owner used itfor cutting so it has some light scratches on the blade. The wood belt loop and leather cords holding it on the scabbard are loose. It come with what i believe is only a partial sword belt that i got from the previous owner. Asking $600 shipped i take paypal or cashapp www.flickr.com/photos/199785922@N03/albums/72177720321268110/

How do you know its Craftsmen series?
Maybe im blind but it looks like one of the older blades, which were made in china.

When i bought i, it was advertised as a craftsmen series. I dont know if they made this exact blade before they changed from chinese blades to their own in shop made blade. All of the valiant hjalmarr swords i was able to find on the internet were craftsmen series.

There's no definitive way to show that a sword is a VA Craftsman. If it has the VA maker's mark, then it is Craftsman, as they didn't do that for the Chinese-made blades. But they also didn't do that for the earliest Craftsman blades. If it's not peened, it is definitely not Craftsman.

Upon further examination this does lack the makers mark and peen marks. So i believe that this is the earlier Valiant Armoury Hjalmarr Viking Sword "Special Edition " not a craftsmen

If it's two, you likely wouldn't be able to see the peen, as it would be covered by the second piece of the pommel.

Its funny you say that because when i was checking it out. It does look like the pommel might be 2 pieces. There was a small amount of polish between the separation of the flat part and the lobes. Also thanks for your help its great to have someone knowledgeable in these situations.

Two piece pommels need to be assembled somehow. Often there are two rivets that protrude thru on the grip side. I can’t make out such rivets in your photos, but no pics are of that specific area.
There may also be some hidden means of assembling a two piece pommel that I’m simply unaware of, of course.

I don’t think the Hjalmarr has a 2pc pommel. I know their three lobe Viking sword is 2 pc.

I recently sold a Hedemark from the Signature Series (along with 4 other Signature Series models)...the pommels on the Signature Series were all held on with nuts like this. What does the bottom of your pommel look like. I was actually going to ask this question yesterday..if it was peened or held with a nut.

It doesn't have a nut pommel. I added more pictures of the pommel to the album
