From what I hear, thaisuki and imperial forge are over priced swords with asthetic value only...don't know if it was exaggerated or not, but I am sure someone on the forum will know. Sal P.S- congrats on your dealer getting DF! I was happy when a dealer near me got Hanwei.

I personally wouldn't look at Thaitsuki... they have some issues with honesty in their descriptions... and quality issues too. The one I've used was a pig. Imperial Forge is another Fred Chen distributor I believe... which makes them comparable to Dynasty Forge... Citadel would be a good choice to look into...

I remember seeing Thaitsuki when they first started their website, i kid you not, literally overnight they increased their prices by about 50%. It's not like they improved any of their products either, they just increased the prices dramatically with no given reason. Their KTN1 used to be around $250, everything else was about half what it is now, and at that price it seemed like a fairly decent price for some decent swords, but now it's just way overpriced.
