Hi all folks
I have a number of Genuine XIX Century French Swords for sale
- Artillery Officer sword model 1822-99 with its 1-ring steel scabbard, beautifully marked - manufactures details etched on the spine (manufacture of Chatellerault Aug 1906), controllers stamps at the base of the blade. Owener's monogram etched on the pommel. really great conidtions - asking 420€
- Light Cavalry (troop) model 1822 with its 1-ring steel scabbard - also beautifully marked, manufactures details etched on the spine (manufacture of Chatellerault Mar1876), controller's marking at the base of the blade, unit marking on the brass guard. Very good conisitons throughout, asking 420€
- Infantry Gladius model 1831 - marked Coulaux (no date) and controller's marking - some loose stitching in the leather scabbard - Asking 320€
- Infantry officer sword model 1845, with its 2-ring leather scabbard, well marked spine of the blade ("Manuf de Klingenthal Couleaux Aine et Cie") and controller stamp on the base of the blade - (letter B topped by a crown) - a small fracture on the floral decorations on the brass guard, some dark spots and ond pitting on the blade (especially around the edge), brass wiring on the grip missing. - asking 320€
All above prices are "ONO" (I'm open to (serious) offers...) and EXCLUDING shipping, can ship pretty much anywhere (from Ireland), but obviously price depends on final detination, so if interested pls ask and can provide exact figures (rough estimates - std post insured ~30€ for most of EU, ~45 Europe Outside EU, ~50€ US/CA, ~70€ AU/.NZ). I'd accept PAypal, Revolut or bank transfer.
I'm seeling these on Etsy, too, but I know I cannot share links - but you can find my shop called "old blades shed" - I obviously would sell cheaper here as ETSY takes 10% commission off my sale, but if buying on etsy feels safer..
Happy to answer any questions or providing more pictures of any details one might be interested into - so don't hesitate to get in touch
thanks
