So, I got this tanto, T10 DH with suguha hamon. Wanted to pimp it up. Bought some antler burrs, planning to use one as a sort of "koiguchi reinforcement that looks like a tsuba"; got my dremel3000 and started carving to size, in order to have it covering the koiguchi but also the fuchi when the blade is in the saya. I had some spare parts for decoration, as well as a kurigata by Sofecoke so I started to place them on to see how to proceed. It looked ok but I hopefully can do better. Noticed a small spare burr and thought I could carve a kurigata out of it and match the theme. This was quite nice so I thought to diminish the metal decorations to better enhance the antler parts. Again, parts are just placed, only antlers are fixed in place and glued. Pondering some different/better decorations. They can all be plated in brass, gold, silver or copper. Deciding which colour would work best and, most of all, which parts. Here's an example of what I found. Any thoughts/suggestions?

I think this looks really good! I love the use of antler.
