Gullinkambi? (sp?) Why would he ever give that back?!? I'd certainly hold onto it, if I were him. If you ask me, HE'S the chopper. Those amboyna scales look a bit dull, compared to the nice glossy look they used to have. They covered in finger prints, or what?

Yes it is Gullinkambi. He wanted to take his collection in a more historical direction, IE pattern welded pieces I think. Those are the original pictures, not sure why they look dull all of a sudden, they are still as bright as ever and like smouldering coals in real life.

I like that knife sam. The constant curved back from butt to tip is nice. And I like how the blunt section mirrors your SS mark. Nice design - clever.

Perhaps its my monitor. That amboyna burl is STUNNINGLY figured stuff. What's your preference for a finish? I know you used boiled linseed oil on your recent fighter. I find Danish oil pleasant to use, but it takes in the dirt quite readily. Linseed oil CAN be sticky. I havnt tried teak oil. What do you think?
