Any markings under the langets (the tabs sticking out over the ricasso of the blade) to indicate maker? I am no expert in etching, but the style feels later/end 19th century to me, while the style of the lion's head feels a bit earlier. However, it looks to be in line with a lion head pre 1900 Prussian Cavalry Officers saber....see #272 in the Eickhorn manual (early 1890's)here as an example: www.deutsches-blankwaffenforum.de/Eickhorn/6.html Although, I think the jawless lion head style was also used in the Saxony.

Thank you so much! If possible. Can you please tell me its possible current value?
