So I purchased this book: www.amazon.ca/Zusetsu-bukijutsu-Osano-Shin-Kigensha/dp/4775305093It's all in Japanese, but all that really matters is the pictures! It has illustrations of kata for practically every Japanese weapon you can think of. Mine came with a half book cover that says "Hissatsu" on the front(!) Pretty great, I plan to use this to integrate some non sword kata into my practice routines this summer (and also some more sword kata, it has a lot of those). Also some kata on how to disarm with no weapon, etc. Probably won't bother with some things like throwing stars, nunchuks, etc., but they're all there! Anyone used this book before? Any recommendations of books like it?

I think there are few volumes of these because I can remember having 1 or 2 around which I can't seem to find in my library. Mine were mostly on katana 1 on 1 or groups that I purchased in the mid to late 90s.

That's cool, thanks! Now I know to look for more volumes!
